Days, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm OR a flexible Part-Time Schedule (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, etc.).
Job Description
Licensed Trailer Mechanics are needed in the greater Hamilton area to perform preventative maintenance, inspections and repairs to semi-trailer and dollies. Mechanics will need to be able to complete and work on:
Roll-up & Swing Door repair
Troubleshoot wiring faults
Change out lights
Fix or change brakes, springs and suspensions
Side panels, roofs, headers, frame rails, etc.
Mount and dismount tires
Repair and rebuild 5th wheels
Ensure units are ready for deployment
Some welding experience (steel, stainless and aluminum)
Must have your own tools, and a valid driver's license. Clear communication is key, especially for writing reports. Military mechanics and retired/semi-retired techs are encouraged to apply. Pre-employment background checks will be completed.
