Marina Bay Academy Ltd. is hiring Infant and Early Childhood Educators.
Main Duties
- Plan, prepare, organize, and implement age-appropriate activities programs for children between the ages of infancy and five years.
- Provide infant care, nurturing and age appropriate activities.
- Lead children in activities to stimulate and develop their intellectual, physical, and emotional growth and ensure their security and well-being.
- Work closely as a teaching team.
- Follow the program philosophy and routine and engage children in the daily routine and activities.
- Guide and assist children to sleep, self-help skills (getting dressed/undressed, tidying toys, dishes).
- Assess the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress or problems with the Program Manager.
- Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural problems and inform the Program Manager.
- Diaper and toileting duties.
- Plan and maintain a high-quality environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
- Always maintain children and educator ratios.
- Provide and participate in monthly fire drills.
Qualifications
- Completion of a 2-year college diploma in Early Childhood Education.
- BC Early Childhood Educator Certificate is required.
- BC Infant and Toddler Certificate is required.
$26 per hour
40 hours per week
Full-time, Permanent

- The government will be paying a wage enhancement of $6 per hour to all ECEs.
- 2 weeks paid vacation per year (10 working days)
