What you will be doing - key responsibilities: Managing the patient experience through exceptional customer service skills Take intra-oral records and radiographs. Provide exceptional assisting skills to our clinical team. Perform Invisalign scans. Sterilization of instruments by adhering to the RCDSO infection control protocols Provide oral health education to our patients and families. Ability to perform other duties as required for the efficient operation of the practice. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. About you: You are an excellent communicator who brings enthusiasm and passion to every interaction. Pleasant, professional, and courteous personality with a passion and energy for exceptional customer service. A capable Dental Assistant, willing to perform expanded duties in treating orthodontic patients. Ability to work cohesively in a small, tight-knit team. Excellent communication skills and experience working with clients. Alignment with our vision, mission, and values, which guide how we work. What you bring – qualifications: 1+ years’ experience as a Dental Assistant Successfully completed a Level 2 Dental Assistant Certificate. HARP certification Previous experience in an orthodontic office preferred. However willing to train the right candidate. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; proficiency with orthodontic management software systems is an asset. Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written), with a proven ability to build strong relationships and rapport with patients, parents, doctors, fellow team members and the community. Keen attention-to-detail and time management skills. Strong conflict resolution, problem solving and decision-making skills.
