Job Opportunity: Clinical Nurse Manager - Operating Room
Location: Vancouver
Reporting to: Clinical Director
We're seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Manager for our centre to ensure top-notch patient care and manage our amazing team!
Responsibilities:
- Oversee effective and safe patient care in OR and PACU
- Lead and mentor RNs, LPN/RPNs, and support staff
- Uphold ORNAC standards and facility policies
- Assess, treat, and educate patients undergoing various procedures
- Collaborate with colleagues and maintain a caring, professional demeanor

Must have Requirements:
- Current RN registration in good standing
- Completion of an accredited peri-operative nursing program
- 3-5 years in the intra-operative environment
- Minimum 2 years in leadership (Charge Nurse, Coordinator, Practice Lead)
Essential Duties:
- Ensure compliance with company policies and CHN mission
- Act as a clinical resource for perioperative team
- Evaluate practices for continuous improvement
- Facilitate effective communication among teams
- Manage department operations and budget
- Lead team member interviews and evaluations
- Support new team members' orientation
- Uphold infection control and medication procedures
- Attend educational workshops and stay updated
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong communication and critical thinking
- Organized with attention to detail
- Conflict resolution and leadership
- Clinical proficiency and business acumen
- Knowledge of medical industry regulations
- Coaching and mentoring abilities
- Ability to multitask and self-direct
