The ideal candidate will have strong typing skills, impeccable accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for inputting, updating, and maintaining accurate data in our company database.ResponsibilitiesInputting alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into the appropriate fields within the databaseEnsuring accuracy and completeness of data through regular reviews and cross-referencingVerifying data by comparing it to source documentsIdentifying and correcting errors, or escalating discrepancies to supervisorsOrganizing and maintaining electronic and hard copy filing systemsGenerating reports and performing data analysis as neededAssisting with other administrative tasks as assignedRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentProficient typing skills (touch typing) with a high level of accuracyStrong attention to detail and ability to spot errorsExcellent time management and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and within a teamFamiliarity with administrative procedures and basic accounting principles is a plusProficiency in MS Office and data entry software
