Employer Job Number: GO-00738033-19Facility: REGNL OFFICE - WEYBURNJob Description: Physician Assistants (PAs) are academically and clinically educated medical generalist who practice medicine within a formalized relationship with a physician. Regulated by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS), PAs collect and interpret medical information, make appropriate clinical decisions and carry out diagnostic and therapeutic interventions within a formalized Physician/PA relationship agreement approved by the CPSS.
Required Qualifications
Certified with the Canadian Association of Physicians AssistantsCurrent ACLS Certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Certification, is an assetCurrent ATLS Certification (Advanced Trauma Life Support) Certification, is an assetCurrent PALS Certification (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Certification, is an assetMaintain membership in good standing on the SHA Practitioner StaffMembership and Licensure in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS) as a Physician AssistantSuccessful Completion of a recognized accredited Physician Assistant educational Program Bachelor of Health Sciences (Physician Assistant)Valid Driver's LicenseExperienceClinical experience working as a PA in related clinical field is an asset. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
