The Coordinator, Industrial Security Program, supports the Coordinator, Regional Administration and Industrial Security, in coordinating the daily activities of DCC's Industrial Security Program in the National Capital Region. The incumbent also gathers, reviews, enters, tracks and maintains security screening and clearance information. The Coordinator provides functional guidance to ensure deliverables and work processes are accurate, effective, efficient and in accordance with Government of Canada Contract Security Program (CSP) policy and process requirements, corresponding with CSP representatives and adjusting DCC processes and manuals, as needed. The incumbent ensures the protection of confidential information, supports the monitoring and reporting of DCC's security sponsorship process timelines and recommends corrective measures, as required.
KEY AND PERIODIC ACTIVITIES
The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative but not all-inclusive:
Primary
- Provide daily coordination, issues management, workflow monitoring and functional guidance regarding DCC's Industrial Security Program and the team's work activities, and recommend corrective measures, as required
- Administer the flow of security screening documents and information
- Input, update, review, verify, amend, retrieve, track and maintain security screening and clearance information in systems and databases
- Research and respond to inquiries, and support internal and external stakeholders regarding the registration process
- Gather statistical and other information in order to monitor, analyze and report on DCC's security sponsorship process timelines
- Develop and prepare reports
- Perform administrative duties (e.g. adding new users to the database)
- Carry out document and records management activities

Minimum: college diploma in administration with a minimum of one to two years' relevant experience
