About this team

We are part of the Global sourcing team with a focus on Raw material Sourcing & Strategy. The team is committed to creating Long Range plans that evaluate risk & opportunity that will the support the business needs through Strategy (Global, vendor and product) and partnering with Raw Material Development, Supply Planning, Finished Goods Sourcing and other cross functional partners. In addition, this team is key to New Product Introduction. Costing Excellence is a key responsibility of this team ensuring Best Product at best cost.

A day in the life:
  • You will be creating and Implementing the Raw Material sourcing vision and strategy incorporating, Strategy, Costing, Capability, and Vendor Management.
  • You will be building and elevating a tight and versatile vendor base that will offer Design and Development access to innovative, and cutting-edge Raw Materials that will inspire and motivate our guests in partnership with our Raw Material development team.
  • Communication is essential to this role and you will be providing reporting to give visibility to the Product team on your areas of responsibility. You will connect with the Product teams and actively provide Sourcing input and bring insights from your partners to drive required actions within sourcing.
  • Analytics are key to this role and you will actively manage and drive costing excellence in negotiations with vendors and identifying cost opportunities.
  • You will use your project management skills to support the Launch and introduction of new vendors and new products working with the product team.
  • You'll be working closely with our Quality and Sustainability Leadership to ensure our vendors meet Lululemon's expectations.
  • You will provide direction and strategy to the LLO Production. You will also work with the LLO to ensure vendor performance is maintained.
  • You'll also be working closely with and managing our vendor relationships with utmost diplomacy and assertiveness to promote brand integrity and best business interests of lululemon.
  • You'll actively identify sourcing successes and potential issues as well as proactively solve capability, costing, and supply chain challenges.
  • You will manage the onboarding requirements for new vendor partners.

  • Your ideal background: Proven industry experience in Yarn, Fabric Development or production and Sourcing,

    with a Bachelor's degree in Business and 10+ years prior experience.
  • Your skillset ideally includes: global experience and leadership skills within Textiles, strategic thinking,

    problem-solving, and a work ethic with the utmost integrity
  • Project Management and reporting

    Compensation and Benefits Package

    lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $107,500 - $134,400 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and equity offerings, subject to program eligibility requirements.
