Position Title: Operator II Status: Full-Time – Days Location: Ottawa, Ontario Overview of Role Under the supervisor of the Operational Team Leader, you will be responsible for performing cartridge testing to support standing component quality control in the prebuilding of all coagulation, immuno, and core products. Responsibilities
Perform cartridge testing to support Engineering and finished goods testing of all product types, as the workload requires Use data analysis software applications to generate production test reports Responsible for gen 2 barcoding. Load cartridge portion packs on the barcoder and use equipment to apply barcode label to cartridge portion packs and pouches Conduct continuous visual inspection of the barcoding process and identify defects (eg. Missing desiccant, pouches not sealed or dented) Take appropriate correction action if defects or problems are identified and advise and consult with Operational Team Leader Complete Lot Traveler documentation Understand and comply with applicable EHS policies, procedures, and guidelines Safeguard the environment and facilitate a safe and healthy workplace culture Other miscellaneous duties may be required
Requirements and Assets
High school diploma Professional training program, or equivalent medical/chemistry experience required Detailed oriented and ability to follow precise instruction Can work well independently and in collaboration with others
