Aquatech Canadian Water Services Inc. is one of the largest private Canadian operations teams of Water and Wastewater treatment plants.
We presently are hiring a Level 1-2 certified Water & Wastewater treatment Operator for a full time position. Candidates must possess a valid Level II Water Treatment Operator and a Level I Certificate for Wastewater Treatment, Wastewater collection, Water Distribution Supply. This position is located in Calgary area, Alberta.

Responsibilities
Carry out the daily operation (regulatory monitoring and reporting process adjustments, chemical transferring and maintenance) of the facilities Complete and compile data of daily inspections, monitoring, and sampling as required Report operational problems to the supervisor Perform maintenance tasks as requested by the supervisor Perform laboratory analysis and reporting Perform maintenance on equipment Help the supervisor with the preparation of monthly an annual reports On call duties as per the schedule set out by the supervisor Participate and comply with all aspects of the company’s health and safety program
Mandatory Requirements
Level 2 certification in WT, level 1-2 in WWT, WWC, WDS (preferred) Level 1 certification in WT, WWT, WWC, WDS (mandatory) Valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s licence, a driver’s abstract will be required Ability to lift 25 kg (55lb) Excellent communication skills, written and verbal Problem solving skills, and ability to work with limited supervision Intermediate to advanced mechanical knowledge Hand and power tool knowledge
