Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain all equipment ensuring all safety devices are in place and in excellent working condition
- Responsible for mechanical maintenance and repair of hydraulic presses, pneumatic systems and troubleshooting equipment.
- Maintain molding equipment, large tonnage presses, automated cells, robotics, conveyors, cranes, and pumps
- Responsible for accurate troubleshooting, repairs, and modification to production equipment
- Ensure correct installation, assembly, positioning, and mechanical set up of all new equipment.
- Completes preventative maintenance task list as assigned by manager
- Follows all policies and procedures as detailed in process documents, immediately brings to the attention of Manager any discrepancies or opportunities for improvement
- Actively participates in continual improvement by demonstrating innovation and initiative to improve safety, productivity, profitability, and efficiency
Education and Experience
- Must have a valid Millwright trade license (433A) and minimum of 3 years’ experience
- Knowledge of PLC, control systems & robot programming
- Ability to read & interpret drawings, schematics and pneumatic circuits
- Proficient welding and fabricating skills
- Experience with forklift and scissor lifts
- Basic knowledge of OSHA/OHSA regulations and safety standards
