Our client, the BIG FOUR consulting firm, is hiring for the Bookkeeper position in the Montreal Area. This is a hybrid, contract position. The hourly compensation rate is negotiable. Must be Bilingual. The Bookkeeper may be responsible for but is not limited to:
- Full cycle bookkeeping
- Processing financial transactions for accounts payable, receivable
- Preparation of bank reconciliations
- Journal entries
- Preparation of month-end files
- Investigating and resolving irregularities or inquire.
- Processing Payroll
- 3+ years of full cycle bookkeeping experience
- Business Administration - Accounting diploma from recognized community college or university degree with concentration in accounting
- Experience with accounting software systems Payroll experience or training an asset
- MS Office Suite proficiency (e.g., MS Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Keen attention to detail
- Data entry with high level of accuracy
- Ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities
- Strong oral and written communication skills
