Job Description:Job Description Salary: MFM Limited Partnership Tools Division is looking for a member to join our team as a Tool Repair Technician in Fort McMurray, AB. As a Tool Repair Technician, you will provide comprehensive service for tool inspection, repair, and certifications for both heavy duty and light duty industrial tools and equipment. Schedule: 4 days on, 3 days off, working 10 hours per day shift rotation Work Location: Mainly based at the Town Shop in Fort McMurray. Work locations may change occasionally due to operational requirements. Overtime Eligibility: Some overtime may be required on occasion. Key Responsibilities: Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot failures on various hydraulic components such as: Pumps, Motors, Valves, Lifting Rams, Power Units, Mobile Cylinders Testing, calibration and repair of hydraulic pumps and related components Repair and recertification of come-a-longs and chain falls Small tool repair, as required Skills & Experience: Demonstrated commitment to working safely Experience working with hydraulic pressure up to 10,000psi Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in team environment Requirements: Mechanically inclined with related experience in troubleshooting and repair Valid OSSA with CSTS-09, BSO, or CSO certification is an asset Eligible to work at all the Oil Sand sites in Fort McMurray is an asset Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License is mandatory Benefits & Incentives: Competitive wage Schedule offers work/life balance Career growth and development opportunities Immediate Group Benefits coverage (including Extended Health coverage, Dental, Vision, Long Term Disability, Life Insurance, Accidental Death and Disability, Critical Illness) Participation in Group Retirement Savings Plan with company matching up to 5%.
