Full-Time Administrative Assistant
Company: Forklift Dealership
Location: Concord, ON L4K 4B1 / Jane and Langstaff
Hours: Mon-Fri, 9AM-3PM (potentially extending to 9AM-4PM)
Compensation $22-$25/hour
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering phones and directing calls to the appropriate department or individual
- Providing administrative support to various departments as needed
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and faxes
- Assisting with basic accounting tasks, such as invoicing and data entry
- Maintaining office supplies and inventory levels
- Performing general clerical duties, such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
- Ensuring the office environment is organized and tidy
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year previous experience in an administrative role
- Must be able to speak and write fluently in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic accounting knowledge or experience is preferred
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to adapt to changing priorities
- Forklift industry experience is an asset but not required
