Employer Job Number: GO-00757339Facility: Royal University HospitalJob Description: Under the direction of the manager Interprofessional Practice, the Dietitian is responsible for managing the nutrition care of patients. This includes nutritional assessment, development and implementation of nutrition care plans, diet counselling, evaluation of care and arrangement for follow-up care. The incumbent acts as a nutrition consultant to other members of the health care team, shares department responsibilities and provides education experiences for dietetic interns.Required Qualifications
Accredited Dietetic InternshipBachelor Degree in NutritionRegistered or eligible for registration with the Dietitians of CanadaRegistered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Dietitians AssociationExperiencePreference will be given to candidates who have Clinical Dietitian experience with acute care medical patients in a hospital setting Preference will be given to candidates with Pediatric Clinical Nutrition experience.Other Information
Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement. HSAS seniority within the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be considered under the Selection Criteria.Standard Hours
The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) requires a criminal record check (CRC) from every potential SHA team member. The CRC must be dated within the past six (6) months and be satisfactory to the SHA. A vulnerable sector check (VSC) is required for individuals providing patient/resident/client care to vulnerable persons.
