Overview of the Role: We are looking for a motivated Administrative Officer to join and help lead our growing team. This position will provide administrative support to the company and coordinate the offices day-to-day operations to support our goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will be accustomed to managing administrative support duties and organized, adaptable, and driven to offer practical administrative assistance to the company.
Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Assess and review implemented administrative processes. 2. Assign tasks to support personnel within the office. 3. Set priorities for tasks and ensure adherence to procedures and deadlines. 4. Manage the day-to-day administrative operations of the company. 5. Coordinate and strategize office services, including space management, equipment procurement, supplies, asset management, parking, maintenance, and security. 6. Aid in creating the operational budget and maintaining inventory while implementing budgetary controls. 7. Compile information and create regular and specialized reports, manuals, and correspondences. Also, provide staff training. 8. Supervise and synchronize office administrative protocols. 9. Strategize and oversee budget planning and spending. 10. Ensure the companys legal documents are valid, including renewing the food safety licenses and permits, provincial fish buyers and processors licenses, etc.

Compensation and Work Schedule: $26 to $30/hour 30 hours/week Overtime pay will be applied if working over 48 hours/week

Job Requirements: A three-year college diploma is required; a bachelors degree is an asset. A minimum of three (3) years of experience in office administration is required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proven abilities and experiences in managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines and prioritizing. Organized and detailed oriented. Ability and desire to work independently and as a team member with other employees. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
