Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a full-time Administrative Assistant to join the Private Equity department in Toronto. The Administrative Assistant will report to a Managing Director in the Direct Private Equity group and will be responsible for providing day-to-day administrative support including managing travel, calendars, meetings, expenses, events, presentations, correspondence, and departmental initiatives.
Role-specific Accountabilities:
- Provide general administrative support to a high performing team of finance/investment professionals
- Manage multiple calendars on behalf of executives, working with other departments’ to coordinate meeting booking.
- Handle highly sensitive and confidential matters relating to the daily activity of the department and/or organization.
- Coordinate and manage critical internal processes for the team
- Co-ordinate, arrange and oversee team event planning process (e.g. offsites, team building events), as required.
- Book and manage complex global travel arrangements, itineraries or other duties related to support professionals who travel globally.
- Manage multiple calendars on behalf of executives, working with other departments to coordinate meeting logistics.
- Reconcile credit card expenses and input into Expense Reporting System.
- Work closely with other executive assistants and teams to increase efficiencies and provide overall departmental support.
- Be a CPP Investments’ ambassador by playing a key role in representing the investment business internally and externally. Conduct work in professional, friendly, easily accessible and approachable manner.
- Work cross functionally as part of a team with other members and departments.
- Accommodate and complete staff requests managing timelines and deliverables.
