Work site environment. At heights, Noisy, Confined spaces, Dusty, Work setting, Machinery installation, Various locations, Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul, Machine set-up.
Responsibilities: Coach and instruct apprentices. Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions. Repair or replace defective machinery parts. Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Assembling machinery and equipment (prior to installation). Installing machinery and equipment. Operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
Credentials, Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses, Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Experience and specialization. Equipment and machinery experience. Automated and robotic system. Hydraulic system. Industrial and stationary engine. Power tools. Pumps and compressors. Tool grinders. Welding equipment. Hand tools. Forklift. Area of specialization. Start-up and testing. Shutdown operations. Renovating and restoring. Rigging and handling. Troubleshooting, Wiring, Welding.
