General Waste Management/Yukon Water Services/Sunset Septic Services Septic Truck Driver LOCATION: Whitehorse, Yukon POSITION STATUS: Seasonal, Full-Time SUPERVISOR: General Manager POSITION SUMMARY Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position will assist with the delivery and pickup of septic related goods, and the servicing of septic systems using a septic vacuum truck. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ability to safely operate a septic vacuum truck Servicing of residential and commercial septic systems Operation of fork-lift & Bobcat Travel to remote communities within the Yukon Territory as needed
QUALIFICATIONS Professional Competencies:
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Cross cultural awareness The ability to work with minimal supervision Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Knowledge and Technical Skills:
Knowledge of and the ability to safely operate a septic vacuum truck with airbrakes Basic mechanical skills Knowledge and experience with septic systems and related goods General knowledge of Sunset Septic Services
Education and Work Experience:
Minimum grade 12 graduate or equivalent Minimum of 3 Years Commercial driving experience Basic mechanical experience an asset
Conditions of Employment:
Class 1 or 3 Drivers License with a clean drivers abstract Airbrakes Endorsement Ticket
