Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible and accountable for providing remote and on-site technical support to end users of desktop hardware/software, including desktop and laptop upgrades and deployments.
- Monitoring server and network health, performing user account maintenance, monitoring data backups and performing restore.
Skills and Qualifications
- Completion of an IT related technical program from a recognized College or University
- Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional (MCITP) in Windows Desktop products (or equivalent)
- Possess 2 - 5 years of proven experience in information technology
- Possess valid passport with ability to travel to USA
- Must be customer service oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Technical and logical problem-solving skills, with strong analytical abilities
- Sound knowledge of desktop equipment including hardware, software products and related applications - Preference for experience with Microsoft InTune and AutoPilot
- Experience with Anti-Virus and malware removal tools
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Azure based networks
- Operating Systems: Windows 10/11, Microsoft Windows Server 2019/2022; including patching and maintenance
- Desktop software configuration and rollouts of Office 365.
- Office 365 applications including OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams and others
- Ability to write and edit business and technical documents
- The ability to resolve and escalate problems quickly and efficiently, proven success in handling conflicting demands and priorities
- Possess the ability to take a proactive approach to resolving technical problems.
Exposure to any of the following technologies would be considered an asset:
- Trend Micro Anti-Malware software
- Microsoft SharePoint
- Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop
- Microsoft SQL Server (administration and TSQL)
- Microsoft Multi Factor Authentication
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure
- Familiarity with TCP/IP based networks
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams
