Job title: Administrative Officer (Noc 13100)
Work Location: 31 Vambury Street, Paradise NL A1L 0J9
Work hours: Monday-Friday, 35 hours/week
Wage: $30.00/hour
Vacation: Employees are entitled to either two weeks of paid vacation per year or compensation equivalent to 4% of their gross salary.
Nature: Full-time permanent.

Job duties
Introduce and supervise the implementation of new procedures as required to enhance overall administrative efficiency.
Effectively manage both clerical and executive tasks.
Coordinate office operations, including the maintenance and oversight of equipment.
Prioritize workload to support staff and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Enforce internal and external policies, particularly those pertaining to government regulations on food handling.
Oversee administrative functions, including budgeting, contracting, and project management.
Assist with inventory and expenditure management.
Prepare periodic reports, manuals, and emails as needed.

Job Requirements:
Completion of secondary school is required.
A university degree or college diploma in business or public administration is an asset.
Previous experience as an administrative officer or similar role is required.
Experienced in computers, like Microsoft office, is an asset.
Strong organizational and management skills, attention to details.
We work in English, but being fluent in a second language is an asset.
