What you’ll do:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following (and other duties as required):

Approaching customers for the purpose of providing customer service is the first priority over other duties and a constant alertness to customers must be maintained. Providing customers with excellent, efficient, courteous service.
To adjust all customer complaints in accordance with the hassle-free guarantee policy.
To ensure that refunds, voids, cash adjustment vouchers, etc. have the appropriate information and signatures. To inform the manager of all significant variances in the cash ups. Ensure all cash ups are posted correctly and in a timely manner.
To assist in mailing monthly accounts receivable statements.
All information must be handled with the utmost confidentiality. All filing to be done on a weekly basis. All correspondence must be forwarded to the appropriate employees on a daily basis. Errors located on department invoices will be brought to the attention of the office manager and/or the appropriate department manager.
To help control office supplies by ensuring a proper inventory of supplies is on hand at all times.
To ensure that any other job that is assigned is completed in a timely and professional manner.
Compliance with all Safety policies and procedures and look out for the safety of others
Adhere to all Wild Rose Co-op policies and procedures

This position requires the use of computers, as well as heavy lifting of products.

Who you are:
You have previous experience in customer service is an asset. Candidates will demonstrate the following:

The ideal candidate would have two (2) or more years of experience in an administrative or accounting clerk role
Knowledge of basic accounting principles, daily cash ups, and strong Excel skills
A Diploma or Certificate in Accounting would be preferred
Experience using JD Edwards an asset but not required
Understanding of our Values (Teamwork, People, Excellence, Community)
Committed to providing excellent customer service to our member-owners as well as internal customers
Quality communication skills, detail oriented and dedicated to accuracy
Experience in the Co-operative Retailing System, and previous retail experience are assets, but not required

This position will report to the Office Manager at our Administration office.
This is a full-time position based on 40hrs/week, regular office hours are 8:00AM - 5:00PM with the occasional requirement to work on a weekend as projects require.
