Labourer Lead Hand

We are currently recruiting for a Labourer Lead Hand local to the Whitehorse area. Reporting to Site Superintendent, the successful candidate will be a team player, exemplify our Core Values, and have a strong commitment to site safety.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean work site
• Assist other workers with their tasks as directed
• Review tool storage on site and make sure tools are put in their place
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures
• Adhere to site housekeeping practices
• Assist Site Superintendent with providing direction to Labourers on site
• May perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 1 - 3 years' experience on a construction site in a similar role

• Experience in carpentry

• Familiarity with hand tools

• Ability to work well in a team

• Commercial experience an asset

• Valid certifications or willingness to obtain certifications in WHMIS 2015, Electrical Safety and Level 1 First Aid
