A leader in the Maritime Forest Products Industry, the Doaktown Sawmill is currently seeking a motivated individual to fill the position of Power Engineer.

The Job:

Some key responsibilities for this role will include:

• Committing to and always promoting the use of safe practices
• Daily operation of biomass boilers
• Care and maintenance of steam boilers and auxiliary plant operation
• Daily operation and maintenance of lumber dry kilns

The Qualifications:

Education, certifications, and experience required:

• Trade Certification or Associate's Degree
• Must be at least a 3rd class Power Engineer
• 2 to 5 years of experience
• Ability to work shifts that include nights and weekends
