About the Position

Work consists of grain handling - shipping and receiving grain commodities via truck/rail/barge/boat, grading incoming commodities, cleaning bins, operating grain dryers, general facility and equipment cleaning, general maintenance, lifting, shoveling, painting, operation of mobile equipment (tractor, skid steer, front end loader, excavator, Trackmobile).

Duties and Responsibilities

• Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude

• Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in team setting when needed

• Must be physically fit

• Must be able to climb stairs, ladders

• No fear of heights

• Computer literate

• All other duties required

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Regular, prompt attendance

• Able to work 8-12 hour shifts, weekends and holidays

• Able to work in a variety of environmental conditions, such as hot and cold temperatures and a dusty environment

Education or Work Experience

• High school diploma/GED preferred

• Related Industry Knowledge

Additional Information

• Work in accordance with local/provincial/federal legislation

• Understands and is accountable for full compliance with safety and other EHS requirements

• Ability to climb stairs, lift 55 pounds, sit and stand for long periods, work in confined spaces, working with heights, bending, and kneeling
